Obituary

Vernell Cullins, 87, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was born May 25, 1933 in Rosie, Arkansas to the late Robert and Mary Lacy Long Snelgrove.
Vernell was reared and educated in Rosie, then left to attend Arkansas College (now Lyon College) in Batesville. She spent most of her life as a wife, mother and homemaker, but then went to work as an executive secretary at the U.S. Time Corporation and also at Traveler Manufacturing Company. Vernell liked to take care of people, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she enjoyed serving and working.
Vernell was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jane and Joann; and brothers, Tom, R.C. Edward and Hershel.
Survivors include her husband Ernest Cullins , whom she married June 12, 1953 in Batesville; daughter, Melanie Trevisani; grandchildren, Lacey, Connor and Landon Trevisani; and brother, George Snelgrove
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Rev. Ken Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Batesville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 until the time of service.
