Obituary

Tena Theresa Gulutzo, 88, of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died December 27, 2020.

She was born December 23, 1932 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Sarah Cirincione Gulutzo.

Ms. Gulutzo was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. She began her working career with the St. Vincent Hospital System in Little Rock from which she retired.

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she did lots of volunteer work and served meals at St. Joseph Schools.

Ms. Gulutzo was a member of the St. Joseph Alter Society, Catholic Daughters of America (where she served as secretary-treasurer), Bunco Club and Buzzing Dozen Club.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Concetta Curreri Gulutzo; three brothers, Charles, Joseph and Sam Gulutzo; and a nephew, Charles W. Gulutzo.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, Frances Hartley, Sherry Plunk, Sarah Ann Seavers, John Joseph Gulutzo, and Steve Gulutzo and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. A Vigil service will be held shortly before the Mass.
