Obituary

Ted Elliott Freeman, 82 years old, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2020.
He was born February 23, 1937, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Jason and Rowena Thomasson Freeman.
He graduated from Arkadelphia High School, where he played baseball and basketball.
He attended Henderson State University, where he played baseball.
Mr. Freeman served in the United States Army during the Berlin and Cuban Missile Crisis with a M.A.S.H. unit.
He had played Semi-pro Baseball and enjoyed playing Soft ball on the United Methodist Church League; Tennis and going to the Horse Races in Hot Springs.
He had worked most of his life giving back to the communities. He had served as past president of the Chamber of Commerce in Bentonville and Jacksonville Arkansas. He was a founding member of the Boys and Girls Club in Jacksonville as well as a member of the Jaycees. He was former President of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville and Awarded the Paul Harris Fellow.
Later in life he was the owner and operator of Freeman's Menswear in Jacksonville and then enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Ted Elliott Freeman, Jr., daughter in law Melissa of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Jackson, Zackery and Pierce Freeman.
