Sue Seaton Meurer, 87, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, April 24, 2020 at home.
Born Winnie Sue Seaton on March 1, 1933 in Bald Knob, she was the daughter of the late Willard A. Seaton and Myrtle Mae Roaseau Seaton.
Mrs. Sue was reared and received her early education in Bald Knob, graduating from Bald Knob High School.
She moved to Pine Bluff in 1956 along with her husband, G. Mack Meurer.
Mrs. Sue worked for McNulty and Company Insurance for 10 years before eventually working for Cooperative Life Insurance Company. After nearly 20 years of service to Cooperative Life, she retired around 2010 to spend more time with her family.
She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served as Session Clerk. She faithfully attended Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church for the past few years.
Mrs. Sue was a gentle spirit who always could find the positive in any situation. She will be dearly missed by anyone lucky enough to have known her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 63 years, G. Mack Meurer, whom she married July 16, 1954 in Bald Knob; sister, Meg Brown; son-in-law, L.D. Camp; and nephew, Michael K. Waller.
Survivors include her son, Jonathan David Meurer; daughter, Carrie M. Camp; granddaughter, Rebecca Lindsey; grandson, Derrick Lindsey (Theresa); step-grandson, Chris Camp; step-granddaughter, Dana Gammel (Skip); great-grandchildren, Addison Lindsey and Avery Lindsey; and step-great-grandchildren, Ryan Gammel (Cindy), Kirk Gammel, Anna Camp, Brody Camp and Katelyn Hamilton.
Private graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 27, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Rusty Womble officiating. The service will be streamed on and on the Ralph Robinson and Son Facebook page. Mrs. Sue will be in state Sunday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. at Robinson’s. Due to covid-19 restrictions, we ask that only groups fewer than 10 people come at a time to view Mrs. Sue.
Memorials may be made to Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 9620 Highway 270, White Hall, AR 71602.

Sue and Mack were very special people that we first met when we attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Pine Bluff. Sue had an amazing voice and we so enjoyed her musical gift! Mack had an unbelievable sense of humor too. They are together again in Heaven. Hallelujah! Love, John and Cindy Ratcliff Gainesville MO
