Sheila Nation, 67, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, February 12, 2023.  She was born April 11, 1955, in Pine Bluff. Sheila worked as a medical transcriptionist for several years and later worked as a bartender. She enjoyed going to the casinos.  Since her father was deaf, she quickly learned to communicate with him by sign language, and became quite good at it, and her skills were utilized many times over the years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie June Veazey; her father, Dewey Nation; a son, Richard Anthony Davidson; and a brother, Keith Dewey Nation.

 Survivors include her fiancé, Rick Vanderpool; two uncles, Donald Miller and Billy Ray Miller; cousins, Larry McEntire, Donnie Miller, Stanley Mark Miller, and Lisa Pinson.

Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.
