Roilee R. Taylor, 103, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, April 2, 2020.

She was born December 5, 1916 in Sheridan, daughter of Roy Reese and Gladys Nelson Reese Gassier.

Mrs. Taylor was reared and received her early education in Sheridan and Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.

She was a charter member and Sunday School teacher at Forrest Park Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She was also a member of RSVP and volunteered at JRMC. Mrs. Taylor was a current member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Taylor was devoted to her family and raised her family with love and Christian values.

She lived by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Mrs. Taylor left a message for her family: “Ill be waiting for you. You have been a joy and blessing to me and you are precious. God bless you and your families always.”

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Taylor, whom she married November 7, 1935 in Sheridan; her parents; and sister, Evelyn Hough.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Taylor (Martha) of Star City and Donald Taylor (Julie) of Batesville; daughter, Margaret Jones Phillips (Bill) of Pine Bluff; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for less than 10 immediate family members only will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Brother Todd Howard officiating. The services will be webcasted on our website, and on Robinson’s Facebook page. Family and friends can also leave typed and video messages for the family on Mrs. Taylor’s page on Robinson’s website. Burial will also be private.

Memorials may be made to Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.
