Oscar Earl Allen, Jr., 86, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2022.

He was born April 15, 1936, in Camden, to Oscar and Ruth McGaughy Allen.

He served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Allen was a member of Highway 79 Church of Christ and had worked for International Paper retiring as an operator in the pulp mill department.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his grand dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Emmons Allen, whom he married on December 1, 1962, in Little Rock; his parents; a sister, Alice Stubbs and his brothers, Thomas Allen, Clyde Allen, Roy Allen, Hugh Allen and Bo Allen.

Survivors include his son, David (Amy) Allen of Pine Bluff; daughter, Kellie (Brian) Pennington of White Hall; a sister, Jennie (Bobby) Ashworth of Camden; grandchildren, Matthew (Molly) Allen, Emily (Clay) Dickerson, Jacob Allen, and Alyssa Pennington.

Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Highway 79 Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 30, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Highway 79 Church of Christ with Mr. Clarence Fell officiating.

Burial will be private.
