Obituary

Norma Jean Wyatt Estell Thompson, 85, of White Hall, finishing her race here on earth only hours after her husband, Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.
Mrs. Thompson was born July 2, 1935, in Pine Bluff, to the late E. L. and Thelma Davis Wyatt. She grew up in the Noble Lake Community and graduated from Linwood High School. She also attended Draughon School of Business.
Mrs. Thompson retired from Varco-Pruden as the Human Resources Supervisor in 2004.
She was a former member of the American Business Association, DuBacage and Port O’ Cotton Chapters.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Tony) Resinger of Dardanelle; three grandchildren, Colton (Alisha) Resinger and Courtney Resinger, both of Dardanelle, and Jennifer Estell; great-grandchild, Callie Resinger of Dardanelle; stepdaughter, Shari Gray of White Hall; stepson, Russell (Kay) Thompson of White Hall; sister, Nina (Johnny) Heard of Dumas; and her brother, Jim Wyatt of Pine Bluff.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Estell; second husband, Edward Eugene Thompson; two sons, Michael and David Estell; a grandson, Jonathan Estell; and two brothers, J. W. Wyatt and Edward Wyatt.
Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 220 John Babish Lane, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.

Ms. Norma was a real sweet lady. I knew her through her late son Mike. She faced a lot of tragedies in her life but she never lost hope or love. Rest 🌹 in peace Ms. Norma. Condolences & prayers for her family. In Christian love, Donna & Tim Jackson
