Obituary

Nancy Elizabeth Cobbs Phillips Lattman, 71, of Hot Springs, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born April 23, 1949 in Newport to the late J.W. and Flossie Arsing Cobbs.
Nancy moved to Pine Bluff when she was five years old, and attended Dollarway Schools, then UAPB. She became a schoolteacher at Dollarway schools teaching math and science for over 20 years before her retirement. Nancy loved playing with and spoiling her great grandchildren, and she was a member of Celebration Baptist Church in Haskell.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Wilmer “Ray” Lattman; and granddaughter, Jennifer Cobb.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Michelle Maher (Chris) of Hot Springs; son, Larry Phillips (Connie) of Pine Bluff; sisters, Lillian Aiken (David) of Mt. View and Patsy Young (Danny) of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nancy was my classmate at Dollarway for years and it makes me sad hearing of her death. Nancy was sweet and funny and had a contagious laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. I know your hearts are hurting but take comfort in knowing that she’s not hurting any more.
