Myra Dell Twitchell, 95, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, September 17, 2020, at her home. She was born July 18, 1925, in Clarks, LA. She was a beautician; a member of First Baptist Church, Pine Bluff; former member of Eudora Baptist Church; served as a Sunday School teacher and assisted in various positions at her church. She was also a member of the Eudora Garden Club, the Pine Bluff Quilters Guild and the Arkansas Quilters Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Evan Hobson and Nancy Hobson Tullos; her husband of 69 years, Irving W. “Topper” Twitchell; four brothers, Elton, Melvin, Ralph, and Noel Hobson; and one sister, Margie Murphy.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Louise Hobson and Ruth Hobson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00-10:30 AM Monday at First Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, where services will follow at 10:30 AM, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Thornton.
Burial will be at 2:30 PM in Dermott Cemetery, Dermott, AR, under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors in Pine Bluff.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Pine Bluff.
