Mary T. Mayer Poposky Frith, 92, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the Waters of White Hall. She was born November 4, 1928, in Pine Bluff to John and Agnes Divorak Mayer. She retired in 1991 from Georgia Pacific as an inspector. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved feeding her backyard birds, often creative with turning other plastic containers into bird feeders. Hummingbirds were another of her favorites, naming one “Stubby” who returned often to zoom by her window. She looked forward to growing a garden and her “green thumbs” could make almost anything grow. When Therese and Robert moved in with her, she loved all of their cats and dogs...she loved all animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Anton Poposky and Cassie Frith; her brothers, Toney Mayer and John Mayer; her sisters, Agnes Miller and Annie Miller; and two step-sons, Oliver Frith and James Frith.

She is left to cherish her memory of her daughters. Therese Poposky Riddle and husband, Robert, of Pine Bluff and Maryanne Poposky and spouse, Tana Comer, of Joelton, TN; a step-son Robert Frith and wife Denise and a number of nieces and nephews along with step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

A vigil service will be held Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Visitation will follow starting at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Joseph Marconi officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pine Bluff, Arkansas or St. Jude Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.

Mary told everyone she met, even if it was for the first time “I Love You”.

Theresa, I was saddened to learn about the death of your Mother. The obituary was beautifully written, and I can just imagine how much you all will miss her. I will pray for you, Maryanne and all friends and family as you adjust to life without your beloved Mom.

Therese and Maryanne: I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing, she’s was such a pleasant lady and I always remember she had a smile on her face. I’m sorry that I missed seeing you both as I was home earlier but had to get back to Texas before visitation and services were set. I hope you both know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Love you both, Briana
