Obituary

Marvin Dale Bullock, 89, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
He was born September 22, 1931, in Humphrey, to Hobert Bullock, Sr. and Fannie Mae Whatley Bullock. He was a sharecropper’s son. He worked for Layne Arkansas Well Drilling Company.
He joined the United States Air Force in April 1952 and served in the Vietnam War. While in the service he was stationed in five states, France, Okinawa, Japan and Labrador, Canada. He served temporary duty in numerous places. He retired as a Master Sergeant in October of 1972.
He had worked for International Paper Company, retiring in 1991 for medical reasons.
He was an active member of East Side Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruby Thurgood, Pauline Bullock; brothers, Delbert, Harvey, Glen, Orville, Harold and Hobert.
Survivors include his wife of seventy years, Bobbie J. Bullock, whom he married on April 22, 1950, in DeWitt; daughters, Elaine (Andy) Vaccaro of White Hall, Kathy (Larry) Tanner of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Shannon, Aaron, Micah, Drew; seven great-grandchild, Ben, Bryce, Blakely, Hudson, Brady, Lydia and Brantley.
Graveside service will be Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M., at Van Camp Cemetery near DeWitt with Reverend R. D. Edwards officiating.
Memorials may be made to Van Camp Cemetery, C/O A. G. Bullock, #9 Crestpark, DeWitt, Arkansas 72042.
