Mark Anthony Garner, 58, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was born December 20, 1961 in Pine Bluff to Martha Owen Baxter.
Mark was raised in Pine Bluff, attending Pine Bluff Schools. He went on to receive his mechanic’s certification, and worked as a master certified mechanic at Derwood’s Exxon and Scallion’s Auto, and he owned and operated Sulphur Springs Auto and Repair.
Mark enjoyed his family and many friends. He loved “tinkering” and was considered a master storyteller.
Preceding him in death were his mother; twin children, Jodie and Jamie; grandparents, Havis and Ila Owen, with whom he had a special bond; and brothers, Mike Baxter and Havis Havitt.
Survivors include his partner, Christie McCuistion; sons, Matt Simmons (Jennifer) and Chad Garner; daughter, Amber Garner; sisters, Christy Jones of Booneville, Candy Bolen and Carla Woodruff, both of Pine Bluff; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in New Owen Cemetery at Griffith Springs. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday at Ralph Robinson and Son.
Pallbearers will be Roger Ellis, J.T. Kearney, Chad Weeks, Joe Helton, Shaun Kirtley, Charlie Prather, Eddy Montague, Lewis Matheson and Ronnie Fallis.

I must say Mark was one of the "good guys".He has been a true friend to me & I will miss him greatly.To know mark was to love him.If u didn't know him you missed out.We had so many good memories together.
