Lemuel E. Pearce, 87, of the Ico Community, near Sheridan, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2019.

He was born August 18, 1931, in Forrest City, AR, to Joe Blair and Alice Holzhauer Pearce.
He was reared and educated in White Hall.
Mr. Pearce served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.
He had worked at Mid America Package retiring as a millwright.
He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Sheridan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Allene M. Hester Pearce; a son Kelley Wayne Pearce; a daughter, Marilyn Marie Thomas; his parents; three grandchildren; brothers, Jim, Joe; sisters, Lela, Mable, Margaret and Clara.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Young Higgason Pearce; a daughter, Deborah Scott (Reverend Doug Scott) of Sheridan; sons, Danny Pearce (Debra) of Dallas, Texas, Donald Pearce (Linda) of White Hall, Ronald Pearce (Gabrielle) of Panama City, Florida; Rusty Higgason (Karen) of Hinesville, Georgia, Stephen Higgason (Haddassah) of Louisville, Mississippi, David Shane Higgason of Louisville, Mississippi; twenty one grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Pearce and a sister Mildred McGarity.
Visitation will be Noon to 1 PM, Friday at First Apostolic Church of Sheridan, 2840 HWY 167 North, Sheridan, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 12, 2019, 1 PM at First Apostolic Church of Sheridan, with Pastor Scott and Brother Joseph Scott officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
