Obituary

K. M. “Dell” Tuck, Jr., 84, of White Hall, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019, at his home.
Mr. Tuck was born March 10, 1935, in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, a son of the late Kermit Mordell Tuck, Sr. and Minnie Bell Moseley Tuck. He was reared and received his education in Tarboro, North Carolina. He served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Eras. He attended college at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
Mr. Tuck retired in 1985 from the Arkansas State Police after 20 years of service.
He was a Methodist and a member of the Arkansas State Police Retirees Association. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Organization. During his free time, he enjoyed crappie and deep sea fishing and giving advice to his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gypsy L. Tuck of White Hall, whom he married August 18, 1968, in Fort Smith, Arkansas; son, Jay L. (Jill) Tuck of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Noah and Jersey Tuck, both of Little Rock; brother, Edward Tuck of Merritt Island, Florida; and two sisters, Myrtle Fields of Leesburg, Virginia and Ann Everett of Selma, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robbie Tuck and an infant daughter.
There will be no formal visitation, but the body will lie in state Monday, July 22, 2019, 1:00-4:30 PM, at Robinson & Fuller Funeral Home in White Hall.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019, 10:00 AM, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Dr. Jeffery Hampton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be sent to American Lung Association, 2020 West 3rd Street, Suite 301, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
