Obituary

Juanita Gray Parker McDonald, 91, of Pine Bluff died February 8, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 18, 1928 in Pine Bluff.
Juanita was raised in the Sulphur Springs community. She became a believer in Christ as a young girl, and served the Lord faithfully for the remainder of her life. She was a graduate of Agape School of World Evangelism, and served on the mission field in Belize, Central America. She also went on mission trips with her church, Centennial Fellowship. She loved her church family.
Juanita loved gardening and growing flowers. She was an excellent cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially loved family gatherings at her home.
In her early years, she worked at Ben Pearson Archery. Later in life, she worked at Siemens until her retirement.
She was a daughter of the late James W. Gray and Virgie Pierce Gray. She married Lafayette Parker in 1944, and he passed away in 1989.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Gray and Edward Gray; sister-in-law, Bobbie Gray; great-granddaughter, Danielle Stivers; and one brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Anderson.
Survivors include her husband, Mickey McDonald; sister, Louise Gray Anderson, Pine Bluff; brother, Horace Gray (Lavonne), Hot Springs; two sons, James Parker (Ann), Pine Bluff and Donnie Parker (Coleen) Bullhead, Arizona; two daughters, Linda Elkins (Kenneth), Alexander, Arkansas and Deborah Noble, Pine Bluff; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Pastor Horace Gray and Pastor Dennis Owen officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Robinson’s.
