I met DeDe at Rosswood Country Club. She taught me alot about golf and also about life. We shared alot of good times together. Our trips to Australia with Connie Kitchen and also New York. We had some great times. Our trips that our golf ladies took to Texas and Mexico were so much fun. I remember on one of those trips we had stopped at a gas station, there was a young guy smoking and DeDe went up to him and told him he needed to stop smoking, to just look at her, that she was really young and that what smoking had done to her. He just looked at her and we all had a tough time keeping from laughing. She was a leading force in helping Salvation Army. she will be missed by everyone in Pine Bluff. Keep George company up there in Heaven. Love you

Travis and I are so very aware of the many gifts God blessed DeDe with and she so graciously shared those gifts with no regard as to how she felt that day. I was in Bible Study Fellowship with DeDe and recognized her strong faith in our Lord quickly. Travis worked with her in the Salvation A4my and she never said “no” to his requests for her assistance. There is no doubt that she was welcomed into Heaven and has no more pain and suffering. May God bless all of you I the coming days. Ann and Travis Creed

My deepest sympathy, Julia, to you and your family. I am so sorry for your great loss. Juanita was not only a cousin to me, she was also a good friend. We shared so many good times growing up together with our families - playing, attending Second Baptist Church together, graduating together from Pine Bluff High School and attending class reunions. Even though we ended up 300 miles apart, we always stayed in touch and visited when we could.
I will miss her greatly.

I have enjoyed my friendship with Dede over the past 40 years tremendously. We enjoyed golf, cards and bible study together. My main memory of Dede will always be her strong faith in God. She always held fast to that faith I know she’s at peace with Him and singing praises! We will miss her!
