Obituary

Jerry Wayne Pennington, 76, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
He was born July 12, 1944, in Watson to Virdell and Sylvia Humphreys Pennington.
He received his education and graduated from Watson High School.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Pennington was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church, a past member of the Watson Chapel Lions Club and the Home Builders Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Rita Clayton Pennington, whom he married on March 17, 1967, Star City, his parents and a sister, Mary Lou McGill.
Survivors include his children, Kevin Pennington (Stephanie) of White Hall and Karen Womack (Kevin) of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters, Catherine Gibson of Riverview, Missouri, Helen Mallett of Shell Knob, Missouri, Patricia Fair of Springdale; brothers, Donald Pennington of Dumas, Dennis Pennington of Watson, Kenneth Pennington of Watson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three honorary grandchildren and their parents.
Visitation will be Friday, 6 to 8 P.M. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral service conducted by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
