To my cousins,Ben, Reba, Joe,and Jim and families

I grieve with you and hate that I can't be there with you. So many memories swell up in my mind of Aunt Jerry and Uncle Lou and all of you. They are good memories, full of joy and laughter as I recall our time( that is (Mom and Scotty, Rick, Johnny and I) together. Aunt Jerry and Uncle Lou were role models for the way 2 people should love each other. I remember the time Aunt Jerry was complaining about how tired she was of her long hair, sitting in grandma's rocking chair reaching back and straightening her ponytail. Uncle Lou wanted her to wear it long. We were all sitting in Grandma"s living room on a summer afternoon with the fan on. All of a sudden Uncle Lou jumped up and said,"I'm tired of listenin' to you!" He grabbed some sissors from the sewing machine, went over to Aunt Jerry, took hold of her ponytail and whacked it off down to the rubber band. I was shocked and watched Aunt Jerry. She was cool as a cucumber, almost with a controlled smile. He walked out of the room and she said now I have to go the beauty shop.
Later Aunt Jerry was a dear encourager to me after losing my mother, Kathryn. She was a Christian and we prayed for each other and our families.
Love to all of you!
Patsy
