Obituary

Jeanne S. Kelley, 90, of White Hall, died May 3, 2020.

Born Eleanor Jeanne Stone September 2, 1929 in Sherrill, she was the daughter of Aulsey Miller Stone and Mahala Elizabeth Milner Stone.

She was reared and received her early education in Wabbaseka, graduating from Wabbaseka High School in 1947.

Mrs. Kelley worked for Mid-America Packaging for many years, where she also served as Union President.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Kelley enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a spunky woman who was always the life of the party.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gerald Kelley, whom she married March 20, 1959 in North Little Rock; two daughters, Joanne Corl and Gale Hinson; son-in-law, Danny Dial; seven brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her son, Don Kelley (Carol) of Georgetown, Texas; two daughters, Beth Dial of Redfield and Deanie Featherston (Sam) of Little Rock; sister, June Shockley of Texas; eight grandchildren, John Corl (Beth), Stephanie Minton (Tim), Kelley Emeneker (Wesley), Jared Corl (Ashley), Courtney Cooper (Kevin), Matt Kelley, Scott Kelley (Adrienne) and Andrew Hinson (Brittany); nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Orion Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. The service will be recorded. However, due to the location of the graveside the live stream may not work. We will have the service on Ralph Robinson and Son’s website and Facebook within 24 hours if the live stream does not work.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at JRMC for taking care of their mom when they could not be there with her.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
