Obituary

Janice (Jan) Christine Greenlee, 66, of Rison, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 25, 2019. She passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Jan was born on October 15, 1952, in Bastrop, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Gurvis Brodnax Sr. and Virginia Herne Brodnax.
Jan is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School, class of 1970. She continued to work in Pine Bluff as an apartment manager and long-time manager of Premiere Apparel. Before deciding to retire, she worked at CB Credit Union as a teller. She was known to her family and friends as someone who loved the outdoors and having company over for a good meal. Jan was known to everyone for her delicious cooking.
Jan was married to her husband, Billy Greenlee on May 6, 1995; they were married for 24 years. She is also survived by one son, Chris Vinson (Wendy) of Rison; one daughter, Ginger Bush (Mike) of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Jennifer Bulloch (Tyler) of Little Rock; one sister, Judy Welch; one brother, Terry Brodnax (Missy); eight grandchildren, Spencer Vinson, Sarah Albert, Tommy Garrison, Summer Vinson, Sunny Vinson, Nathan Bush, Lillian Bulloch, and Carter Bulloch; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Gurvis and Virginia Brodnax; two brothers, Gary Brodnax and Gurvis “Skip” Brodnax Jr.
The funeral service will be held at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home on September 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m with Reverend James Watson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on September 26, 2019. Burial will follow the funeral at Rowell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home.

So sorry for the loss of Jan. Judy and Terry you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have known Jan since she was just a little girl. I know her smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. May God bless the family and give you all comfort and peace in the days ahead.
