Obituary

Rev. Howard Thomas Hudspeth, 85, of White Hall, AR, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020. He was born September 20, 1934, in Milan, TN, to Grover D. and Pearl McCoy Hudspeth. He was an avid Cardinal’s fan, and loved playing golf. He enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. He served briefly in the United States Military, and was a former supervisor for General Motors and a local bread company. He later served in public relations for C.B. Masonry.

He loved his family and always had a joke to tell. He was a people person, and enjoyed working with young people. His church, Cornerstone Apostolic Church, was very important to him. He served there as a member, a lay pastor, and for many years taught the youth Sunday School class. He was licensed with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Joyce Taylor Hudspeth; one son, Steve Hudspeth and wife, Suzan; one daughter, Sharon Corbitt and husband, James; his grandchildren, Niki Hudspeth Turner and husband, Jarred, Zachary Lee Hudspeth, Kristi Isaacson and husband, Greg, and Matthew Corbitt and wife, Kim; great-grandchildren, Saige Turner, Alyssa and Jake Isaacson, and James and Norah Corbitt; one sister, Charlotte Duncan of Lavenia, TN; two brothers, Grover Hudspeth, Jr., and Travis Paul Hudspeth, both of Paris, TN.

Friends are invited to view and sign the guest book between 10:00 A.M. -3:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2020, at Robinson and Fuller Funeral Chapel in White Hall. A drive-through visitation will be held in the parking lot at Cornerstone Apostolic Church from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday.

A private funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church with the Revs. Zane Isaacson and Ben Corbitt officiating. Due to limited seating and the current guidelines issued by the State of Arkansas, the service will be live- streamed online at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home.

We count ourselves honored to have met this precious man of God. We did not know him well but have only heard wonderful things about his life of devotion to Jesus and to his family. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with you, Sis. Hudspeth, Steve, Sharon and family.

Brother Howard was one of a kind and there will never be another one like him. A wonderful man of God and an awesome family man. He was a hard worker and he was quite a character to work with at CB Masonry as he was always trying to pull a prank on someone! His famous line was "you ain't worth .15 cents." If I had the .15 cents for every time he told me that, I would have a large amount of change! Love and prayers from Vickey McCall and family.
