Francine Vann Worthen, 73, of Bearden, died Saturday, December 5, 2020.

She was born August 28, 1947, in Camden, daughter of Florence Vann.

Mrs. Worthen was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.

She was a lifelong homemaker before working as a paraprofessional for the Bearden School District.

While at Bearden, she touched many lives, including those of her beloved students and fellow faculty.

Her heart was as big as the sky, and she always made sure her family was given all they needed.

Mrs. Worthen enjoyed cooking and travel (particularly to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and to the beach in Pensacola, Florida, and Orange Beach, Alabama). She also loved her many cats.

Along with her mom, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Shirley Ann Thompson and Charlene Mayes.

Survivors include her husband, Alvis Worthen, whom she married September 3, 1967, in Kensett; two sons, John Michael Worthen of Bearden and Bucky Worthen, Jr. (Stephanie) of Bearden; and grandchild, Jory Worthen.

Private graveside services available to watch online will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. If the livestream is unavailable for weather or other reasons it will be online within 24 hours. All current state covid-19 guidelines will apply.
