Gladys Eloise Green Morris, age 86, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
Born March 15, 1933 at Woodlawn in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late C. D. Green and Agnes Maudlin Green, and was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School.
Eloise was a lifelong member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A homemaker, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joys.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Morris, whom she married on November 26, 1954; and siblings, Della Mae Henderson, Lorene Bates, and Kathryn Snyder.
Survivors include her sons, Danny P. Morris (Consuela) of White Hall and R. Perry Morris (Laura) of Pine Bluff; three siblings, Sybil Stone, James Green, and Wilma Hufford all of Pine Bluff; a brother-in-law, Bob Worley of Grapevine; grandsons, Brett Morris (Kristen) of Maumelle, and Tyler Morris and Daniel Soto, both of Pine Bluff; and her great-grandchildren, Ella Morris and Madeline Morris of Maumelle.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Salem Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Howard Loetscher officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery at Grapevine by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
Memorials may be made to Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 7226 Sulphur Springs Road, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
