Edward Lee McClusky, 62, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, October 24, 2020.

He was born December 8, 1957 in Tipton, Indiana.

Mr. McClusky was reared and received his early education in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, graduating from Pleasant Plains High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Harding University in Searcy.

He worked for Lyon College in Batesville for 6 years and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff for 28 years as the computer manager in administrative services.

Edward enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a very talented marksman and an avid Second Amendment supporter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Brown Hook Sample; step-father, Norman Hook, Sr.; step-father, Arvle Cole Sample; brother-in-law, Dennis Thomason; and sister-in-law, Jackie Thomason.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Thomason McClusky of Pine Bluff; son, Andy McClusky (Jannes) of White Hall; daughter, Lynette McClusky Berry (Tommy) of Watson Chapel; siblings, Patricia Waters (Lloyd) of Bradford, Ron Thomason (Cheryl) of Croswell, Michigan, Ken Thomason (Ruth) of Rockwood, Michigan and Yvette Cichowski of New Boston, Michigan; uncle, Nolan Brown of Searcy; five grandchildren, Aiden McClusky, Rowan Berry, Donovan McClusky, Rosalyn Sides and Jaxon McClusky; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Anyone wanting to visit the family may come by Yvonne’s house after calling either Yvonne, Andy or Lynette to make sure someone is there.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, 2 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.

Best big brother ever! He ordered me from the Sears catalog. Ed picked out a little baby in a yellow dress and said “that’s the little sister I want.” Mom got a yellow dress to bring me home in from the hospital so he would think he got his wish.
