I am just now learning of Mr. Lagrone's passing. I admired this man greatly, and owe him considerably for taking a chance on me as a new employee with the ADC when he hired me in 1988. It is my prayer that God's peace be granted to his loved ones and friends, and eternal rest granted to the man himself. I remember him fondly as a gruff, growling force of nature that really had a heart of gold.

Weep Not For Me

When time has passed,
And death has come,
And I lay still and dead,
Do not weep for me,
For I'm not gone,
I've just gone on ahead.

Please think of me kindly,
And remember me in prayer,
I hope to be remembered,
As a man who Loved and Cared.

I make no claim to goodness,
I am not a righteous man,
I'm just a common sinner,
In the palm of God's great hand.

So do not cry because I'm gone,
My body still and cold,
For you see, that is not me,
For I walk the streets of gold.

I wish you to honor my last request,
And pay it special heed,
Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior,
And spend eternity in Heaven,
With me.
