Dorsey Merrill Raymick, Sr., 80, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2020.
He was born January 14, 1940, in Pine Bluff, to John Dorsey and Gussie Elizabeth Petty Raymick.
He was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, and a member of R&R Hunting Club.
He was the owner and operator of Dorsey’s Plumbing for 53 years and had served as the Pine Bluff City Plumbing Inspector.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Dorsey had a passion for giving back to the community. He had several including, the Habitat for Humanity, Monroe-Ryburn ball field, Salvation Army and The 20th Century Club of Little Rock, Hope Away from Home.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dorsey M. “Skipper” Raymick, Jr.; his parents; sisters, Dorothy Culpepper, Thelma Brasher and Johnnie Tidwell.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Smith Raymick, whom he married in 1962 in Georgia; a daughter, Kelly Justiss of Pine Bluff; daughter in law, Sharon Stroud Raymick, three grandchildren, Hayley Brooke Raymick, Morgan Ashley Raymick, Jaden Elizabeth Justiss; a sister, Marie Hester (Havis) of Pine Bluff and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson’s.
Funeral service will be February 6, 2020, 10 a.m., Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Billy Britt officiating.
Burial will take place in Fitzhugh Cemetery.
