Obituary

Dorothy Christine Jordan, 88, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, May 8, 2021, at The Blossoms of White Hall. She was born July 27, 1932, in Bay Springs, MS, to O. Everette (Nubbin) Crabtree and Lillian Ulmer Crabtree. She was a 1951 Graduate of Rocky Creek High School in Lucedale, MS, and was married to Oliver Jordan on November 25, 1951, in Poplarville, MS. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1958, and mostly spent her time as a homemaker. However, she did work for a couple of years in the bookkeeping department of the Pine Bluff Commercial. She was also a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother, Everette Ray Crabtree.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronald Wayne Jordan, Paul Kevin Jordan, and David Craig Jordan; a step-sister, Betty Gavlinski; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with the Rev. Victor McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home.
