Obituary

David R. Reed, 70, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, September 13, 2019.
He was born April 8, 1949 in Pine Bluff, son of Zedic Reed and Hazel Ocile Heird Reed.
David was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1967.
He worked as a salesman for Fairway Outdoor for many years.
David was an avid Razorback fan who enjoyed attending games or watching them at home with his family. He also loved playing golf with his good friend and golf partner, Eddie Schull.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Benny Reed.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Camp Reed, whom he married May 25, 1984 in Pine Bluff; daughter, Misty Johnson (Randy) of White Hall; two grandchildren, Lauren Gossett and Reed Johnson; son, Brian Reed of Texas; and brother, Zedic Reed.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in the Multi-Purpose room at Family Church of White Hall with Pastor Dan McDonald officiating.
The family will be at the home of Misty Johnson, 2331 Wagon Trace in White Hall.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Attn: Tribute Department, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148.

Sorry to hear of Davids passing. David is my cousin. He, Zedic and I were pretty close in our younger years but only occasionally of late. I truly believe David now is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We grew up in the same church in our younger years and never forgot our roots. To the family : May the Holy Ghost give you comfort at this time of loss.
