Obituary

Christine Funderburg Krank, 83, of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. She was born February 18, 1938 in a log cabin outside of Pine Bluff to Houston and Grace Richardson. Her mother and twin sister passed away during childbirth, and Christine was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Nathan and Elizabeth Funderburg. She stayed very close to all of them.
Christine was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. She was a faithful member of Whiteville Missionary Baptist Church during much of her adult life. She taught Sunday School for most of her life as well. She became a “preacher’s wife” later in life after marrying Reverend Thomas Krank and spent the next 28 years serving small Missionary Baptist Churches around Arkansas and Louisiana.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Nathan Allen Holdford; brother, Roy Rice; sister, Rosemary Moore; grandson, Derek Baggett; step-son, Miles Krank; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Ann Holdford.
Survivors include two sons, Rob Holdford (Joy) and Joel Holdford (Amber); grandchildren, Dakota, Hanna, Taylor, Alyssa, Josiah, Daniel (Jennifer), Amanda, Amber, Kevin, Dillon and Allison Michau (Randy); great grandchildren, Talen, Ryker, Liam, Briley, Lilly Kate and Paul, Brenden, Josh and Ethan Baggett, Aaron Reppond, Garrett and Gavin Michau; step-daughters, Pam Baggett and Kim Krank; and granddaughter-in-law, Amy Baggett.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 16, 2021 in the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Jeff Temple officiating. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed for anyone unable to attend. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

what a wonderful mother to us and preachers wife to thomas. she is beloved to us and had the sweetest smile! she loved singing and playing the piano. i know she is free at last and enjoying her heavenly home. she will be greatly missed! love and prayers to the family..
