Obituary for Charles Dwayne "Charlie" Sanders

Charles “Charlie” Dwayne Sanders, 66, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. He was born April 3, 1956, in Snyder Texas to the late Charles Albert and Margie Courtney Sanders.

Charlie graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1975 and was the owner of C&H Masonry. He was an excellent bricklayer and stonemason. Charlie was an avid reader; he especially enjoyed a good mystery book. In his spare time, you would find him fishing or watching vintage television shows. He loved shows like the Three Stooges or the Blues Brothers.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace Courtney; grandfather, Carl Courtney; great aunt, Gladys Lindsay “Mama Lindsay”; and brother-in-law, Larry D. Fetters.  

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Sanders of Pine Bluff; sister, Judy Fetters of San Antonio, TX; nephew, Dr. Brian (Millie) Norton of Lowell, IN; niece, Shelly Rene (Joe) Salinas of San Antonio, TX; great-niece Kayla (Craig Handy) Davis of Star City; daughter, Laura (Dennis) Chapman of Woodlawn; grandchildren, Christian Daniels and Ethan Daniels. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
