Obituary

Charles Andrew, “A.C.” Freeman, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, December
28, 2020 from complications of Covid pneumonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mamie Helvey Freeman, and two sons,
Kerry Todd Freeman and Kevin Blake Freeman.
He is survived by his two sons, Bart Freeman (Schlain) of White Hall and Chris Freeman (Dedra)
of Little Rock; his seven grandchildren, Karie Freeman Bryan (Christopher), Conner Freeman,
Austin Freeman (Madison), Andrew Freeman, Ann Freeman, Allison Freeman, and Ashley
Freeman; a brother, Gerald Dean Freeman; and a nephew, Steve Freeman.
A.C. served in the Air National Guard of Arkansas and as a reserve of the U.S. Air Force. He
was a very driven, dedicated, hardworking businessman with many business ventures,
including owning several Miller Beer Distributorships for over twenty-four years. A.C. was a
certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, and a member of the Arkansas Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
A.C. was an avid duck hunter and lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited. His sons will always
remember the time they got to spend with their dad duck hunting at Prairie Wings and Goose
Lake hunting clubs. No matter how many people showed up to hunt, they were always
welcomed. A.C. enjoyed cooking for and entertaining his guests. He loved being surrounded
by his friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling. Better known as “Pop” to his
grandchildren, he loved spending time with them most of all. They put a smile on his face like
nothing else could.
A remembrance service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Frank
and Barbara Broyles Foundation, 3810 N. Front St., Suite #3, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
The family was assisted by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. Your daddy was a fun one to spend time with! He loved to tease me! I would not have had it any other way! I don’t know who was worse he or Kevin!
May each of you find comfort in all of the memories! Love you! Karen Lacewell Hughes

Bart & Chris - I was already thinking about you today as this would have been Kevin's 57th Birthday. When I heard about AC, it just made my heart hurt that much more. Now I have a day to remember them both. Your family provided me with so many opportunities and I have the best memories with all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. Love and miss you both, Karen

I have known AC my whole life. He was definitely a character! I could share SO many stories but it would take months. Bart and Chris I am so sorry for your loss! You have been family to me as long as I can remember. AC rest in love. I have pics. I will have to sift through 27,000 on my phone to add them. It will take a minute.
