Byron Earl LeGros, 51, of White Hall, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

He was born November 23, 1969 in Fordyce, son of Earl and Charlene Pennington LeGros.

Mr. LeGros was reared and received his early education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School in 1988. He earned his respiratory therapy training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

He worked at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for 30 years, where he was currently serving as a respiratory therapy supervisor.

Byron was a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church in Hensley. He enjoyed the outdoors and working with his kids in Scouting. He served as a Cub Scout Leader of Pack 88 in White Hall and Boy Scout Leader in Troop 391 in White Hall. Byron also loved his family and sports. He was an avid Razorback fan.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Wannetta Clowers; and brother, John LeGros.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patsy Perkins LeGros, whom he married February 11, 1993 in Pine Bluff; three sons, Brandon, Dakota and Timmy LeGros; three sisters, Sheila Graber of White Hall, Jackie LeGros of Sheridan and Michelle LeGros of Jefferson; and brother, Kenny LeGros of White Hall and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Ronnie Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson’s. All current covid-19 guidelines will be in effect for all events.

Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 391, c/o Dr. Raymond Jones, 8025 Dollarway Road, White Hall, AR 71602.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of sweet Byron. I am so glad I was allowed to be one of his teachers and get to know him, and his siblings. I share your sadness in losing him way too soon. I know he will be missed by so many. My love and prayers to Byron’s family and friends.
