Bobbie Lee Jones Jackson, 87, of Hensley, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

She was born April 14, 1935, in Clarendon, Arkansas, (Monroe County) to the late Grifford G. and Pauline Tucker Jones. She lived with her dad and stepmom, Lucille Jones, in Pine Bluff, Rison, North Little Rock, and Linwood, Arkansas.

Bobbie was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School class of 1953. She was employed by Entergy (formerly Arkansas Power and Light Company) for 35 years.

Bobbie married the Love of her Life, Waverly Carroll Jackson June 18th, 1954, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. They loved to swing dance and made many friends while they were members of the Little Rock Bop Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 68 years, Waverly Carroll Jackson; brother, Hubert Earl “Buddy” Jones; and a sister Virginia Rose Jones Butler.

Survivors include her son, Keith Jackson and wife Judy, of Hensley; granddaughter Amanda Jackson Taylor and husband Jay of White Hall; two great grandchildren, Lottie and Reed Dice of White Hall; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Hardin Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Harrison officiating.
