Obituary

Billie Gene Anderson Miller, 93, of Pine Bluff, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020.

She was born March 24, 1927 in Pine Bluff, daughter of Thomas Wayne and Irma Wendel Anderson.

Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired from Simmons First National Bank in 1989. The family cannot remember her missing a day of work because they believe she did not want anyone messing with her cash drawer.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F., “Billy” Miller, Jr.; sisters, Virginia Ingle, Dorothy West and Bobby Jane Smith; and great-grandchild, Ryleigh Rae Miller.

Survivors include her sister, Jo Ann Walters; three sons, William Fred (Jamie) Miller, III, Larry Wayne Miller and Scott Anderson (Vicki) Miller; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside will be held Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery with Deacon Noel F. “Bud” Bryant officiating by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, PO Box 2233, Pine Bluff, AR 71613.

The service will be recorded and available on Robinson’s website by the end of the day Friday. Online register: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com

I don't know Billie Jean Miller, but I know her son, Scott. Scott is one of the best people walking around on this planet. That only means one thing, he had an awesome mother! Billie Jean you did an awesome job raising your son, and your impact on this world will continue through Scott and his family. God Bless you all. Sorry for this immense loss! Barb and Ed Gantz

Larry, I always loved to see your mother when she came in the office at Bob Smithey's office. She was a delight to me as she looked and acted a lot like my sweet aunt that I loved very much. Ms. Billie had such a sweet personality. You and your family are in my prayers as I know you will miss her very much and I know you took good care of her. Linda Crawford
