Betty Young, 82, of Star City, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 10, 1938 in England, to Joel and Mattie Ivy Studdard.
She lived in Pine Bluff most of her life and spent her later years living in Star City. She was a member of the Star City United Pentecostal Church.
She was a selfless, faithful woman of God and loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart.
She was a faithful giver even when she could no longer attend services. She took care of others who were not hers and spent her years taking care and raising family members. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the last of twelve siblings. Her legacy will live on in her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judy Young and eleven other brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Melody (Arnold) Lowery of Pine Bluff, Kristie (Paul) Clark of Oklahoma; stepsons, Bobby (Sarah) Young of White Hall, James (Karen) Young of White Hall; granddaughter, Kelsey (Michael) Russell of Monticello; grandson, Reese (Kayla) Lowery of Cove; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives.
She lived a faithful life serving the Lord and is now in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.
