I would like to say that I’m so sorry about Ms Betty’s passing! She was a strong lady and never seem to complain about anything! I remember calling her the day her brother passed away and she was crying when she answered the phone saying - “my brother has died” and I’m so sad! I would call Ms Betty when I was leaving Wabbaseka and talk as I was driving to Little Rock and we would be on the phone sometimes 2 hours. I just loved talking to her and listening of times past, as well as the present!! Her mind was always very clear and she loved her children. I think she worried more about them than she did herself, but that’s just being a “Mother”!!
I sure enjoyed every conversation we had over the last couple of years! She was full of wisdom and her memory was always sharp! She certainly gave me a lot of laughs and a lot of good advice and sure missed hearing from her and our conversations since she moved to Jefferson, TX! She was such a kind and caring lady!! She never once complained, but was always concerned about others! I sure miss our conversations
and now Ms Betty can sing all she wants to!❤️
