Obituary

Betty Jean Winnon Colson, 86, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2020.

She was born May 20, 1934, in Oak Ridge, Louisiana, to Lynn and Nannie Atkins Winnon.

She received her education and graduated from Oak Ridge High School.

She had worked for Pine Bluff National Bank and retired after fifty plus years.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Eugene Colson; a daughter, Paula Colson; a son, Rusty Colson; her parents and a sister, Gail Winnon.

Survivors include her son, Thomas (Carolyn) Colson, of White Hall; a brother, Buddy Winnon of Oak Ridge, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jason Colson, Emily Colson, Amy Colson, Amy Shipman and Erica Spradlin; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, 5 to 7 PM at Robinson’s.

Graveside services by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Friday, October 9, 2020, 2:30 P.M. at Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Oak Ridge, Louisiana.
