Benjamin Sean McAllister, 59, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

He was born October 7, 1960 in Pine Bluff, son of Jim McAllister and Margie Hood Ladd.

Mr. McAllister was reared in pine bluff by his mother and Talmage Ladd. He received his his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1978.

He worked for Ladd Appliances for many years as an HVAC repair technician.

He loved hunting and fishing, his family and riding his motorcycle. He had a way with connecting with people. It had often been said he could sell an air conditioner to an Eskimo in an igloo. Always quick with a witty comeback or a joke, he loved making people laugh. He treated the janitor the same way he treated the CEO. A lover of a good book, a good western and a good debate, he was full of life. He loved Jesus and shared that love with anyone that would listen (and anyone that wouldn’t).

Along with his biological father and mother, he was preceded in death by his dad, Talmage Ladd; brothers, Thomas Allen Ladd and William “Bob” McAllister; and granddaughter, Reighan Denise Johnson.

Survivors include two daughters, Jenny McAllister of White Hall; Seanna McAllister of Pine Bluff; granddaughter, Sevanah Boyd; two brothers, Scott and Steven Ladd; two sisters, Talma Ladd and Marta Ladd; and five nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at Christian Life Church with service following at 3:45 p.m. Friday. The address of Christian Life Church is 23 Starlite Drive in Pine Bluff.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Gideons International.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sean's passing. Though I have no doubt he is reunited with Mrs. Margie and Mr. Talmidge, he will be missed by all who knew him. I'm keeping the family in my heart and prayers during this sad time.

Praying for all the family. I am glad that I got to know Sean over the years. He had the biggest biggest heart. Love the McAllister/Ladd family. So sorry for your loss.
