Obituary

Amelia “MeMe” Wyatt, 73, of West Monroe, LA, formerly of Pine Bluff, died Friday, December 25, 2020, in West Monroe. She was born December 22, 1947, in Arkadelphia, AR, and was a member of the former Southside Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, and an active member of McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe. She was a hairdresser and worked at Audrey’s Beauty Shop and Pam’s Beauty Salon. She loved gardening, artwork and singing in the church choir. She was also an avid John Wayne fan.

Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Wayne Wyatt and Audrey Evans Wood; step-father, Elmer W. Wood; a sister, Debbie Ewing; and a nephew, Gary Prince.

She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deloris and George Kelley and Pam and Mark Buford; and three nieces, Audra Bradley, Gaila Irvin, and Cindy Allen; great-nephews, Seth Walker and Hunter Allen; great-nieces, Kailey Allen, Taylor Irvin and Paisley Irvin.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 29, at Cypress Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
