AJ Delassus, Jr., 28, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
Born Edward Anthony Delassus, Jr. September 7, 1991 in Pine Bluff, he was the son of Edward Anthony Delassus, Sr. and Mary Lou Jackson Delassus.
A.J. was raised and received his early education in Star City, graduating from Star City High School in 2010.
He worked for Time Striping in Little Rock.
A.J. was a fun-loving person who had a lot of friends who also loved the outdoors and will never be forgotten. He loved four-wheeler riding, fishing, hunting and just watching the sunrise and sunsets. A.J. enjoyed playing with his kids, going to car races and hanging out with friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Delassus; and grandfathers, Harold R. Delassus, Sr. and Sidney Jackson, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Michelle Stokes Delassus, whom he married July 24, 2015 in Star City; two sons, James Charles Delassus and Drake Hoss Delassus; daughter, Cerenydi Grayce Delassus; mother, Mary Jackson Delassus; father, Edward Anthony Delassus, Sr. and his wife, Inelle Meree Delassus; two sisters, Vanessa Delassus and Ashley White; five brothers, Damon, Reed, Roy, William and Chris Delassus; and grandmothers, Faye Delassus and Betty Jackson.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother Dan Borland officiating. Burial will follow in Bayou Meto Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson and Fuller in White Hall.
